The housing-wealth-nexus
Overview
The Housing-Wealth Nexus is an international network of academic institutions and housing organisations coordinated by Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Spain). Bringing together 16 organisations across 10 countries in Europe, North America, and South America, the network combines academic excellence with the practical knowledge and experience of grassroots housing movements.
The network investigates how housing has become a central mechanism for wealth creation and social inequality, while advancing comparative research, knowledge exchange, and policy innovation. By connecting researchers, policymakers, and civil society, the project aims to generate evidence and co-create solutions for more equitable housing futures.
